It will not make sense if you do not look at the link at the bottom.
The assignment was to look at certain quotes and determine if it was a war hawk or a federalist.
Document A: war hawk, he says that the Kentucky militia
could take Canada, he is proud
Document B: war hawk, calls British military’s impressment
of sailors “unlawful” and “unjust”
Document C: war hawk, he says he is drawn to western war
hawks, and that he thinks the war will have advantages
Document D: Federalist, he claims that it was our greed that
got us into the war
Document E: Federalist, he says that it was greed, not
policy that sent us to the war
Document F: War hawk attempting to sound neutral, he seems
prepared to go to war, but Presidents have to be somewhat neutral,
Document G: Federalist, the title says they are protesting
the war, but also talks about how it would not affect the greater good
Here is the link to our teacher's document:

I was glad to see in today's debate you remembered John Randolph (Documents D & E) was an anti-war Democratic Republican. The Federalists would have agreed with the sentiments he expressed in these two documents.
