We had an assingment today to list things our parents have told us to do and what the conversation would look like if we responded: "I prefer not to."
Here is one of the example conversations:
M: Help me with the groceries, please.
A: I prefer not to.
M: Do you eat the food?
A: Yes.
M: Then, help me carry the groceries.
A: But I don’t wanna!
D: Help your mother carry in the groceries.
A: Fine!
