Here are my Questions for Chapters 5 and 6 of TLitF.
~ True Son talks about "the barbarous homeland of his white enemies" the Natives sleep in tents on bearskins, and yet, they find the ways of the whites barbarous.
~ "These were the captives future masters" Why would True Son be a captive to the people he was taken from?
~ True Son is constantly comparing his Native Father to the man who comes to collect him. The Natives seem to enforce discipline. Could True Son have seen the mans show of emotion as a weakness???
~ Del Hardy thinks the Natives are savages, What is civilization, really?
~ When told that he was related to the Paxtons were related to him, True Son looked upset. What could the Natives have told him?
~ "John Cameron Butler" refuses to even give his biological family a chance, Why?
