Here are my discussion questions for Chapters 9 and 10 of TLitF

Ch. 9

~ Why didn't "John Cameron's" parents just tell him the story of how he was captured?
~ Why do they assume that the missing objects were taken by "John Cameron?"
~ The whites seem arrogant (Parson Elder- what type of name is that? and Aunt Kate and Myra) Why do they lack respect for Native culture?

Ch.10

~ Why do Harry Butler and Dr. Childsley assume that John/ True Sons sickness is a side affect him being raised by Indians??
~ Why does Harry Butler assume that John/True Son should renounce his Native ways?
~ Why did the Natives come back?
